CRANKS - Walls

ca: CASELLES - Paret

es: CASILLAS - Pared

Cranks walls: we make them as they are very useful for filling up small spaces in the kiln and can take all the odd sizes of tiles. As they are separate, moving them is difficult, so set them up either in the kiln or as near as possible. The first time we made them we used red clay, but it is much better to use refractory and fire them at a high temperature, as they last longer. If the arms break, cut them down with an electric tile cutter.
