YELLOW WARE

ca: CERÀMICA GROGA

es: CERÁMICA AMARILLA

Yellow ware was fashionable in England in about 1800. An opaque white glaze-base was mixed with yellow and the pieces were dipped into it, completely covering the inside and outside. It was decorated in two ways, either using the Majolica method directly on to the crude base or using the resist method on to a fired glaze.
